In 1989, Don Martin — an entrepreneur with a photographer's eye — saw Grand Cayman the way its returning guests did: not as a destination to pass through, but as a place worth knowing well. With his wife Linda, whose instinct for hospitality shaped everything that followed, he turned a single property into something larger and quieter in ambition — a way to help people live on the island, however briefly, like locals do.In 1995, they launched the Cayman Islands' first dedicated vacation-rental website, long before booking a home online was something travelers expected. More than three decades later, that early instinct has grown into a collection of over 300 homes across the island — and a family business still run by the family that started it.
